Mark 8:25-9:1

Take Up Your Cross

In these verses you can see that Jesus doesn't want you to lose your soul to the world. He says how those who are ashamed of Him and are of the sinful generation will be ashamed of by Him when He comes.

In order to keep from being shamed by your Lord, take up your cross and follow Jesus. Lve a life that is honorable, pure and worthy of the Lord's acceptance. Strive to reach that Ultimate Goal to be conformed into the image of His Son.

The Lord is not interested in allowing you to be overcome by the world as it is toay with it's acceptance of homosexuality, lies, abortion... He wants you to be a responsible Christian. Responsible for living a pure and Godly life as He has taught you.
